Our Philosophy

A Considered Canine Lifestyle

We believe dogs deserve more than simply being watched over. They deserve space to explore, freedom to move, meaningful social connections and a daily environment designed around their emotional, physical and social wellbeing. That belief shapes everything we do.

Set within ten secure acres of Cotswold countryside. Fewer dogs. Exceptional standards of care. Vast outdoor freedom. A calm, enriching environment where every dog is known, understood and valued as an individual.

This is not traditional daycare. It is a considered lifestyle choice, created for owners who expect exceptional standards and who believe their dogs deserve a life filled with adventure, enrichment, companionship and genuine care. Because for us, wellbeing is never an add-on. It is the foundation of everything we do.

We have been so impressed with Doggy Playschool. You and Emma and all the staff have been wonderful. Thank you very much for everything.

Maple's Mum

Playschool has been amazing for Monty and the progress he has made since he first started and has then been attending almost weekly since. He really has loved his time at Playschool and that in no small part is down to everyone's patience and input with him. His confidence has really grown as has his socialisation skills. We want to thank everyone for this.

Monti's Mum

The staff are fantastic with the dogs, and we are always totally confident that our boys are going to be well cared for and have lots of fun. We feel so lucky to have such a brilliant doggy daycare facility so close to us!

Harry's Mum

Emma and her team clearly want to put all the dogs first! Emma's knowledge and caring approach, coupled with the excellent design of the facilities have improved so many dogs' lives, just by looking at them. Glad I have found Emma and her team. My dogs are always delighted to visit The Doggy Playschool Company.

Monti absolutely loves his days at Playschool, runs to Owen and the bus and comes home washed off, relaxed and ready to sleep. No guilt or bored dogs in this house!

Banksy and his humans would like to say a massive thank you to Emma and her team for the amazing members event held today. If you want your fur baby looked after by a skilled, kind and absolutely doggy focused team this is the place for you. From the gorgeous reception area, the large thought out specialist sniff areas to chill out zones in front of doggy TV. This is pawfect, really highly recommended.

Getting Started

How to Join

Joining The Doggy Playschool is a considered, gentle process — designed around your dog's comfort and wellbeing every step of the way.

Why Owners Choose Us

A Standard Worth Joining

Maximum 10 dogs per Playleader
10 acres of secure countryside
Behaviour-led enrichment
Individually assessed members
Experienced canine professionals
Fully licensed and insured
01

Book a Meet & Greet

We start with a friendly meeting to understand your dog's individual needs, routine and the level of care you're looking for.

02

Induction Morning

Your dog joins us for a gentle induction session to observe their behaviour in a pack environment. We take small steps to ensure they're never overwhelmed and never feel anxious — building confidence at their own pace.

03

Transport & Home Visit

If we're collecting your dog, a parent needs to be at home on our first visit. This keeps stress to a minimum and lets us understand your dog's evening routine — where they sleep, water access, food requirements, and which rooms are allowed.

04

Security First

Every dog is led from the house on a lead. The lead stays on until they are safely secured in their vehicle crate. Collars come off, they relax, and they're ready for a wonderful day at Playschool.

The Psychology

How We Assess Each Dog

Every member is individually assessed against a considered tick-list of behaviours, so the pack stays balanced and your dog genuinely thrives.
